Many of you would have received some kind of statement that would include the phrase “Happy New Year.” What does this really mean? Is it simply we wish you all the best? Is it that we wish you to be prosperous and successful and what does that really mean? Many of us at the beginning of a new year make plans or think about plans to change something in our lives. You call them new year resolutions. What does it mean to be the happy man, the blessed mad from the biblical perspective? Psalm 1 holds the keys to being blessed, to being happy and to being successful in God’s sight.
