Our lives are filled with many issues.

Shopping, internet, emails, text messages, social media, television, gaming, reading, traveling, business, meetings, corruption, people lying etc

We live in a world of foolish thinking, rebellion towards God and great uncertainty.

Billions of people are idol worshipers.

Worshiping:

• Themselves, pleasure, money, power, religious idols

Confusion is rampant concerning Gender issues, marriage, covid, land, politics, crime etc

Should I get the injection, should I not

Conflicting stories, fake news

One wonders how one gets stability in this world of uncertainty.

The answer is simply this.

Anchor yourself in God.

Make sure he is your rock, your foundation.

Make sure that everything in your life revolves around Him.

When He is not the Centre of your life, then everything tends towards chaos and irrationality

Then secondly Love Him not only with your deeds, but also your whole heart.

Our passage this morning addresses this issue.

Having responded to the question on the resurrection, is there to be life after death in which your soul is united with your glorified body, Jesus addresses what should be termed the greatest command in all of Scripture.

Jesus provides the foundational basis for all of life, that there is a God and how we should respond to Him and then secondly to the people around us.

These are core, foundational truths to hold on too in uncertain times.
