Welcome
We are so glad you visited our website

What to expect as a visitor
ARRIVAL: On arrival, you will find ample safe parking for your vehicle.
FRONT DOOR: As you enter the front door, you will be greeted by our friendly members who are there to assist you. They will give you a warm welcome and provide you with a visitors’ welcome pack.
One of our friendly members will then help you to your seats.
We would ask that you complete the form in the visitors pack and pop the form into the offering bag or you can give it to one of our members on duty. This form is merely to assist our pastor in making contact with you and in no way commits you to anything in the church.
SERVICE: At 09:00 when the service begins, one of our leaders will then lead the service by opening in prayer, do a reading from the Bible, and then worship and the offering will take place thereafter. The pastor will then come forward and do expository preaching from the Bible.
LENGTH OF SERVICE: Our service starts at 09:00 and finishes at +-10:30
AFTER THE SERVICE: We would love for you to join us after the service for refreshments and fellowship, so that we can connect with you.

WITBANK BAPTIST CHURCH
We are a growing church, very much in the process of establishing ourselves as a solid expository preaching church, desiring to embrace the missionary heart of Christ.
Please feel free to approach our Elders or leadership to find out more about WBC.
Morning worship service: 09:00 to 10:30
Sunday Seminary takes place before the service at 08:00 – 08:50. Here we cover topics that encourage spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with the Lord. You can find out more about this under Sunday Seminary.
The mission of the church refers to the comprehensive goal or mandate of the church to bring glory to God through biblical teaching, God centered worship, united fellowship, prayer and bold outreach to the unbelieving world.
Teaching
Preachers that preach at Witbank Baptist Church are selected expository preachers.
This means that they preach biblical truth derived from a process of exegesis. The preacher uses what is termed the historical, grammatical literal method to interpret the Scriptures. It is preaching in which its sole source is from the Scripture. The message comes from the Scriptures through careful study. It is preaching that explains the original God intended meaning of the passage to its original recipients and applies the timeless principles to our modern-day situations.
8 They read from the book, from the Law of God, clearly, and they gave the sense, so that the people understood the reading. Nehemiah 8:8 (ESV)
